Resettlement support for 7 people arriving in Sydney
Help a family of 8 start their new life in Sydney: furniture, rent deposit and language classes.

My family left Ukraine 14 months ago after the war reached our town. We spent time in a camp before we were resettled in Sydney. We're a family of four and we're safe, but we arrived with very little.
Our resettlement agency has provided 3 months of rent, and that support ends in August.
I was a shopkeeper in Ukraine, and I'm studying the language every evening. Our daughter and son have started school and are doing well.
We want nothing more than to be self-sufficient. This fund will help us through the first six months.
Funds are managed by the Sydney Welcome Table charity, a registered organization, which pays the landlord and suppliers on the family's behalf.
Where the $2,900 goes:
• Language classes and bus passes: $570
• Rent deposit and first month: $1,800
• Winter clothing and school supplies: $530

Rooting for you, Axel. Hope this works out for you. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected. Love from Medellín.
