Marie was diagnosed with early-stage lung cancer in July. The oncology team at Nîmes Cancer Centre has planned 4 rounds of treatment, starting in September. She will be away from work for about 6 weeks. Marie is 33, worked as a construction supervisor until July, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her. Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Nîmes Cancer Centre 5 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly. We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off her shoulders. Funds will be used only for treatment, medication, transport to appointments and essential living costs during treatment. Where the $5,750 goes: • Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $3,250 • Scans and lab work: $880 • Transport to Nîmes Cancer Centre: $350 • Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $570 • Household costs while unable to work: $700 Please ask me anything in the questions section. I'll answer honestly and quickly.

Updates from Kévin

  2. Update from Nîmes: I met with the treatment center and confirmed the amounts. We're at 39% of the goal. Thank you for believing in us.
