Volunteers wanted: Bambang's yard after the storm
Fallen branches and overgrowth are blocking Bambang's path; a few hours of help would make a big difference.

I'm 88 and I have lived in this house in Yogyakarta for 39 years. After the storm in April, two large branches and a fallen fence have blocked the back door and the garden path. I can no longer manage them myself because of arthritis.
The council has told me it will be eight weeks before they can send someone. I'd feel much safer if it were cleared sooner.
Help needed: someone with a chainsaw, plus a few people with rakes and gloves. I'll provide tea, sandwiches and the green waste bags. A few hours will do.
I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.
