Resettlement support for 4 people arriving in Riverside
Help a family of 4 start their new life in Riverside: furniture, rent deposit and language classes.
🇺🇸 United States302 views
My family left Yemen 10 months ago after the war reached our town. We spent time in a camp before we were resettled in Riverside. We're a family of six and we're safe, but we arrived with very little.
Our resettlement agency has provided 3 months of rent, and that support ends in December.
I was a mechanic in Yemen, and I'm studying the language every evening. Our daughter and son have started school and are doing well.
We want nothing more than to be self-sufficient. This fund will help us through the first six months.
All purchases will be documented and photos shared (with the family's consent).
Where the $1,250 goes:
• Phone and internet for school and job search: $270
• Winter clothing and school supplies: $320
• Language classes and bus passes: $660
Thank you so much.

Stay strong, Eva. Gave what I could, wish it was more. Blessings.
