Reem needs a communication tablet with eye tracking - help us make it happen
Help Reem get a communication tablet with eye tracking so She can attend work interviews.
🇦🇺 Australia264 views
Reem lives with multiple sclerosis. The occupational therapist at Parramatta General Hospital has assessed her and recommended a communication tablet with eye tracking. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $4,750.
Her current equipment is 11 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined her to home for 6 weeks.
With the right equipment Reem could attend work interviews. It would change everyday life for the whole family.
We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest.
Funds go toward the equipment, delivery, fitting and a year of servicing.
Where the $4,750 goes:
• communication tablet with eye tracking: $4,250
• Fitting and training sessions: $220
• Delivery and set-up: $100
• First-year servicing plan: $180

thanks for sharing this, Khadija. I hope things turn around soon. My mother had a similar thing happen so this one hit home. God bless
