Ravi's final semester of an agriculture degree in Nagpur
A first-generation student, Ravi needs help covering tuition for the final stretch of an agriculture degree.

I'm the first person in my family to go to university. I'm studying an agriculture degree at the Nagpur Institute of Technology, and I'm two terms away from graduating. I have worked as a night-shift cleaner to pay my way, but this term my hours were cut and I have an unpaid balance of $900.
The registrar has told me I can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. I have a 3.6 average, and my professor has written in support of my application for a payment plan.
Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support my younger siblings. Without enrolling this term I'd lose my place and my scholarship eligibility.
I'm not asking for a handout - I want to finish what I started and then help the next student.
The payment will go directly to the the Nagpur Institute of Technology bursar's office. I'll post the receipt.
Where the $900 goes:
• Outstanding tuition balance: $300
• Final term tuition: $520
• Exam and lab fees: $40
• Textbooks and materials: $40
Thanks for being kind about this.

Wishing you the best, Ravi. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. My husband and I read this together. Greetings from Jakarta.
Praying for you, Ravi. Good luck with the exams, you've got this. We had a similar scare last year, I know what it feels like. Thinking of Nagpur!
Take care. Good luck with the exams, you've got this. It's not much but it's yours. All the best.
