Rafiq wants to stay at home - help fund three months of care
Rafiq, 76, needs daily care to stay at home, and the family is raising $750 for a carer and medicines.

I'm caring for my father, who's 76. After a fall and hip fracture Rafiq can no longer manage alone. A nursing home would cost far more than we have, and Rafiq desperately wants to stay at home.
I work 25 hours a week and have cut back to look after him, but we need a part-time carer.
Rafiq worked all of his life as a seamstress, and raised 4 children. Now we're trying to give some of that care back.
Medication, a hospital bed and a carer for three months will make a huge difference.
Funds cover the carer's wages, medicines, a hospital bed rental and incontinence supplies.
Where the $750 goes:
• Part-time carer (three months): $580
• Medication and prescriptions: $140
• Hospital bed and mattress rental: $30

Stay strong, Sumaiya. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double. Thinking of Aurangabad!
