A powered wheelchair would give Rachel independence - we're $3,750 away.

I live with a spinal cord injury. My occupational therapist at the Mobile Rehabilitation Centre has assessed me and recommended a powered wheelchair. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $3,750.
My current equipment is 10 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined me to home for 4 weeks.
With the right equipment I could speak with the people around her. It would change my everyday life and my ability to work from home.
We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest.
I'll pay the supplier directly from the funds, and I'll post a photo once the equipment is delivered.
Where the $3,750 goes:
• powered wheelchair: $3,000
• Fitting and training sessions: $370
• Delivery and set-up: $70
• First-year servicing plan: $310
