Plant 3,200 native trees around the Acacia canal in Rosario
Help us clean and replant the Acacia canal before the October planting window closes.
🇦🇷 Rosario, Santa Fe, Argentina318 views
The Acacia canal has been used as an informal dump for years. This August, 48 neighbors turned up for a first cleanup, filling 163 bags in a single morning. Now we want to restore it for good.
We have a plan agreed with the city parks department, including native species selected by a local botanist.
The area floods more each year, and fish have returned for the first time in a decade after our first cleanup. Restoring it will protect homes and bring back shade.
All the labor is volunteered. We just need materials.
Funds buy saplings, gloves, bags, hire of a skip, and signage.
Where the $250 goes:
• Tools and protective gear: $105
• Signage and educational materials: $55
• Waste removal and skip hire: $90
Please ask me anything in the questions section. I'll answer honestly and quickly.

Rooting for you, Lourdes. Hope this works out for you. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double. Take care
