One semester away: help Rivka graduate from Tel Aviv State College
A first-generation student, Rivka needs help covering tuition for the final stretch of a nursing degree.

I'm the first person in my family to go to university. I'm studying a nursing degree at Tel Aviv State College, and I'm one semester away from graduating. I have worked as a delivery rider to pay my way, but this term my hours were cut and I have an unpaid balance of $4,400.
The registrar has told me I can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. I have a 3.8 average, and my professor has written in support of my application for a payment plan.
Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support my younger siblings. Without enrolling this term I'd lose my place and my scholarship eligibility.
I'm not asking for a handout - I want to finish what I started and then help the next student.
The payment will go directly to the Tel Aviv State College bursar's office. I'll post the receipt.
Where the $4,400 goes:
• Outstanding tuition balance: $1,300
• Final term tuition: $2,850
• Exam and lab fees: $165
• Textbooks and materials: $85
You're what makes this possible, and I'll never forget it.

is there a list of costs somewhere? Just curious how it adds up for Rivka.
Outstanding tuition balance is $1,300 of it. Everything else is listed in the story and nothing outside that list comes out of this page. Let me know if you want more detail.
Your post was clear and honest. Wish I lived closer to Malang so I could bring a meal. Greetings from La Plata.
Is there anything that isn't money that would help Rivka?
Wishing you peace, Rivka. As a teacher I love seeing someone work this hard to learn. The breakdown of costs made it easy to trust.
Thinking of you. Hope this works out for you. I hope September is when things finally get easier.
