Isaree's hip replacement surgery can't wait - please help us cover the bill
A scheduled hip replacement surgery in October is out of reach without help covering $300 of the cost.

In August I was diagnosed with a deviated septum causing chronic infections. My surgeon at Khon Kaen Orthopedic Institute recommended hip replacement surgery, and I have been placed on the schedule for October. The hospital's financial office gave me a written estimate of $380, and after what my employer's plan will pay, I'm still $300 short.
Doctors at Khon Kaen Orthopedic Institute told me a deviated septum causing chronic infections will get worse without hip replacement surgery. I work as a hotel cleaner, and I have saved what I can, but the estimate of $380 is far beyond what I've.
Until the surgery I can't work full days, and my hours as a hotel cleaner have already been cut. Every week of waiting means more pain and a bigger risk.
Rehabilitation is expected to take about 6 weeks. I'll not be able to work a full shift during that time, so this has become a financial emergency as well as a medical one.
The money goes straight to the treatment bills, and I'll share the invoices as they're paid so you can see exactly what your gift did.

Is there a list of costs somewhere? Just curious how it adds up for Isaree.
Sure. The biggest one is post-operative medication, $55. The rest is in the list at the bottom of the post and I'll upload receipts as I pay each one. I'll keep the page updated.
