Osama is the first person in the family to go to university. He is studying a teaching qualification at Jeddah University, and is one semester away from graduating. He has worked as a delivery rider to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $2,200. The registrar has said Osama can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Osama has a distinction average, and a professor has written in support. Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Osama would lose his place and scholarship eligibility.
