One semester away: help Nabirye graduate from Kinondoni Community College

Nabirye is the first person in the family to go to university. She is studying a nursing degree at Kinondoni Community College, and is one semester away from graduating. She has worked as a warehouse packer to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $650. The registrar has said Nabirye can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Nabirye has a distinction average, and a department head has written in support. Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Nabirye would lose her place and scholarship eligibility. Nabirye isn't asking for a handout - She wants to finish what She started and help the next student. The payment will go directly to the Kinondoni Community College bursar's office. I'll post the receipt. Where the $650 goes: • Textbooks and materials: $35 • Final term tuition: $480 • Outstanding tuition balance: $135 Glad we found this place. - Njoroge
