One semester away: help Ayesha graduate from Dhaka University
A first-generation student, Ayesha needs help covering tuition for the final stretch of a law degree.

Ayesha is the first person in the family to go to university. She is studying a law degree at Dhaka University, and is one term away from graduating. She has worked as a night-shift cleaner to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $850.
The registrar has said Ayesha can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Ayesha has a 3.9 average, and a professor has written in support.
Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Ayesha would lose her place and scholarship eligibility.
Ayesha isn't asking for a handout - She wants to finish what She started and help the next student.
The payment will go directly to the Dhaka University bursar's office. I'll post the receipt.
Where the $850 goes:
• Outstanding tuition balance: $340
• Final term tuition: $470
• Exam and lab fees: $15
• Textbooks and materials: $25
With deep gratitude,
Nusrat

How is Ayesha doing now?
stay strong. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. Thinking of Dhaka
sending strength, Nusrat. Hope this works out for you.
Gave what I could, wish it was more. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected. God bless
Thinking of you and your family, Nusrat. Looking forward to the next update. Wish I lived closer to Paarl so I could bring a meal!
Wishing you the best, Nusrat. Shared it with a few friends. We're a small family in Tokyo but we're thinking of you. All the best.
