Need strong backs and a van: moving Océane to safer housing

A short, concrete way to help: a few hours of lifting and loading in Marseille.

After the rent increase, I found a safe, affordable apartment in Marseille, and the lease starts on Thursday. I have three kids, a few pieces of furniture and no money for movers. I'm hoping for anyone with a van for about four hours. If you have a van or pickup, that would help enormously - I'll cover fuel. The old place is on the third floor with no elevator and the new place has just one flight of stairs. We'll do it in two trips. Lunch and cold drinks are on me. I know this is a lot to ask of strangers. I'd be happy to share references from my landlord and my employer. Thanks for being kind about this.

  • Keep going, Océane. A secure home matters so much. Hope you're settled soon. We lost years of savings to something like this so I get it. God bless.
