One semester away: help Autumn graduate from Los Angeles State College
A first-generation student, Autumn needs help covering tuition for the final stretch of an agriculture degree.

I'm the first person in my family to go to university. I'm studying an agriculture degree at Los Angeles State College, and I'm two terms away from graduating. I have worked as a night-shift cleaner to pay my way, but this term my hours were cut and I have an unpaid balance of $3,400.
The registrar has told me I can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. I have a 3.8 average, and my department head has written in support of my application for a payment plan.
Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support my younger siblings. Without enrolling this term I'd lose my place and my scholarship eligibility.
I'm not asking for a handout - I want to finish what I started and then help the next student.
Everything raised goes to the university's accounts office toward the outstanding balance and the final term's fees.
Where the $3,400 goes:
• Exam and lab fees: $220
• Final term tuition: $3,050
• Textbooks and materials: $130
Thanks for being kind about this.

wishing you the best. As a teacher I love seeing someone work this hard to learn. My mother had a similar thing happen so this one hit home. All the best.
Study hard! Thinking of Los Angeles.
Best of luck, Autumn. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes
So sorry you're going through this. Good luck with the exams, you've got this. We lost years of savings to something like this so I get it. Greetings from Moscow.
stay strong. Shared it with a few friends. I'm in logistics myself and wanted you to know we're cheering for you. All the best
