Veteran in need: Yewande's next mission is stability
Yewande served four years in the navy; $750 would cover a first month of rent and transport to job interviews.

I served four years in the navy and was discharged in 2025 with a service-related knee injury. I have been waiting nine months for support, and meanwhile I'm sleeping at my brother's place.
I have a plan: a first month of rent and transport to job interviews. The quote I have comes to $750.
I'm receiving counseling through the veterans' clinic and am committed to my recovery. Structure and a stable place to live are the missing pieces.
I'd be grateful for any help and will share updates on how I'm doing.
Money will be paid to the training provider and the landlord directly.
Where the $750 goes:
• Essential household items: $45
• Housing deposit and first month: $220
• Training provider fees: $485
Every share and every dollar helps.
