One semester away: help Adeline graduate from Sheffield Community College
Adeline has worked and saved for four years to study a law degree; a $4,700 gap now stands between her and graduation.

I'm the first person in my family to go to university. I'm studying a law degree at Sheffield Community College, and I'm one term away from graduating. I have worked as a night-shift cleaner to pay my way, but this term my hours were cut and I have an unpaid balance of $4,700.
The registrar has told me I can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. I have a 3.9 average, and my faculty supervisor has written in support of my application for a payment plan.
Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support my younger siblings. Without enrolling this term I'd lose my place and my scholarship eligibility.
I'm not asking for a handout - I want to finish what I started and then help the next student.
Everything raised goes to the university's accounts office toward the outstanding balance and the final term's fees.
Where the $4,700 goes:
• Textbooks and materials: $300
• Outstanding tuition balance: $2,300
• Final term tuition: $2,100
Thanks for being kind about this.

your post was clear and honest. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry. Blessings!
Keep going, Adeline. It takes guts to ask. Well done.

Sending strength. Good luck with the exams, you've got this. Thinking of Sheffield.
thanks for sharing this. Your post was clear and honest. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected
