I coordinate donations at the Maple Mosque in Kazan. Every year around this time we hear from families who have nothing warm for their children, and this year demand has more than doubled.
We're collecting clean, gently used or new coats, boots, hats, gloves and scarves in sizes 2 to 14 years. If you're in Kazan, we can arrange a pick-up or you can drop things at the Maple Mosque on Saturday between 11am and 2pm.
If you're elsewhere, you may offer to sponsor a coat through a local shop - message in the comments and we can coordinate.
Items go to families directly and the rest to the the Maple Mosque clothing bank, which is open to everyone.
I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.

Praying for you, Vladimir. I hope things turn around soon. The breakdown of costs made it easy to trust. Greetings from Istanbul.
