Oluwaseun was diagnosed with an aortic valve defect in May. The surgeon at Ibadan Orthopedic Institute recommended laparoscopic endometriosis surgery, and She is scheduled for August. The hospital's financial office gave us a written estimate of $1,400, and after what the government subsidy will pay we're still $850 short. my wife has been in and out of Ibadan Orthopedic Institute since May. The doctors say an aortic valve defect will get worse without laparoscopic endometriosis surgery. We have emptied our savings and borrowed from relatives, but the estimate of $1,400 is more than we can find. While we wait, Oluwaseun struggles with daily life and can't drive.
