Ochieng lives with multiple sclerosis. The occupational therapist at the Arusha Mobility Clinic has assessed him and recommended an adapted tricycle. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $1,050. His current equipment is 11 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined him to home for 12 weeks. With the right equipment Ochieng could go to school independently. It would change everyday life for the whole family. We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest. Funds go toward the equipment, delivery, fitting and a year of servicing. Where the $1,050 goes: • adapted tricycle: $960 • Fitting and training sessions: $30 • Delivery and set-up: $25 • First-year servicing plan: $35 I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen. - Kamau
