After burnout at work, Nisha has struggled with anxiety, sleep and panic attacks. The doctor has referred her to family counseling, but the public waiting list is 11 months, and private sessions at the San Jose Counselling Collective cost $135 each. Nisha has been honest with her employer and taken some time off, but can't keep going without support. Therapy has already helped a little in the sessions Nisha could afford. The therapist recommends 20 weekly sessions, and consistent help will make the difference. Asking for help with this has been the hardest part for Nisha, and we're grateful for your kindness without judgment. Funds cover only therapy sessions, and I'll share progress updates (not private details) if I'm comfortable. Where the $1,750 goes: • 20 therapy sessions: $1,350 • Psychiatric assessment: $360 • Workbook and resources: $40 I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.
