After a difficult divorce, Nina has been on a waiting list for months - private therapy is the only option, and the cost is $1,800.

After a difficult divorce, I've struggled with anxiety, sleep and panic attacks. My doctor has referred me to family counseling, but the public waiting list is 11 months, and private sessions at Nijmegen Wellbeing Centre cost $60 each.
I have been honest with my employer and taken some time off, but I can't keep going without support.
Therapy has already helped a little in the sessions I could afford. My therapist recommends 20 weekly sessions, and I know that consistent help will make the difference.
Asking for help with this has been the hardest part, and I'm grateful for your kindness without judgment.
Funds cover only therapy sessions, and I'll share progress updates (not private details) if I'm comfortable.
Where the $1,800 goes:
• 20 therapy sessions: $1,500
• Psychiatric assessment: $240
• Workbook and resources: $60
Whatever you can give, even just sharing this page, means a lot.

can I help in a way that isn't money? I'm near Nijmegen.
Thank you. If you're in Nijmegen I'll say if something practical comes up. For now sharing this is great. Fair thing to want to know.
So sorry you're going through this. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. Thinking of Nijmegen.
so sorry you're going through this, Nina. Shared this with my family. Don't give up.
