Negombo cyclone relief - the families of Old Town Lane
Neighbors in the families of Old Town Lane are rebuilding after the cyclone; every contribution goes to materials and supplies.

The cyclone hit the families of Old Town Lane on 25 July. My home was one of 83 damaged, and 12 families are still in temporary shelter at the sports club.
The first few days we shared what little we had. Now the cleanup has started, but we've no money for materials and winter or the rainy season is coming.
Schools in the area have been closed, and the clinic lost its cold storage for vaccines. We're a small community of working families who have never asked for help before.
We have formed a volunteer committee, and I'm the treasurer, so I'll post receipts for everything we buy.
We buy supplies locally and in bulk, so the money goes further. Receipts and photos will be posted in updates.
Where the $1,500 goes:
• Roofing sheets and timber: $580
• Clean water and purification supplies: $110
• Bedding, blankets and mattresses: $230
• Food parcels for displaced families: $200
• Tools and labor for repairs: $380
If you're reading this, thank you.

Thinking of you, Roshan. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. Wish I lived closer to Semarang so I could bring a meal. Love from Katowice.
Hope you get there. After 30 years in nursing I know how hard it's to ask for anything.
wishing you peace. Hope you get there. It's not much but it's yours. Thinking of Negombo.
