Nathan wants to stay at home - help fund four months of care
Nathan, 83, needs daily care to stay at home, and the family is raising $1,400 for a carer and medicines.

I'm caring for my father, who's 83. After worsening Parkinson's disease Nathan can no longer manage alone. A nursing home would cost far more than we have, and Nathan desperately wants to stay at home.
I work 50 hours a week and have cut back to look after him, but we need a part-time carer.
Nathan worked all of his life as a nurse, and raised 4 children. Now we're trying to give some of that care back.
Medication, a hospital bed and a carer for four months will make a huge difference.
Funds cover the carer's wages, medicines, a hospital bed rental and incontinence supplies.
Where the $1,400 goes:
• Medication and prescriptions: $340
• Mobility aids and bathroom adaptations: $650
• Hospital bed and mattress rental: $410
