Nala's a broken leg after a road accident: help with the vet bill
Nala, Viviane's German shepherd, needs urgent treatment for a broken leg after a road accident costing $650.

Nala is my German shepherd of two years. On 21 September we rushed to Olinda Veterinary Centre with a broken leg after a road accident. The vet recommends a hospital stay and surgery, and the estimate came to $650.
They have stabilized Nala, but the treatment can't wait beyond November.
Nala is more than a pet - Nala got me through my hardest year. I have already put $110 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan.
Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back.
Funds will be paid straight to Olinda Veterinary Centre and I'll share the invoice and an update on Nala's recovery.
Where the $650 goes:
• Emergency surgery: $330
• Hospitalization (3 nights): $145
• Medication and follow-up visits: $90
• Diagnostics (X-ray, bloodwork): $85
I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.
Updates from Viviane
We're at 15% thanks to 1 of you. I met with the vet clinic and confirmed the amounts. More news soon.
Good news. Because of your gifts ($115 in total) I made the first payment toward diagnostics. Still a way to go but it feels less lonely.

can I help in a way that isn't money? I'm near Olinda
praying for you, Viviane. Shared it with a few friends. My colleague had a similar thing happen so this one hit home. Thinking of Olinda.
