My tuk-tuk: Hari's only way to earn a living
Hari drives for a living in Pokhara, and a broken gearbox has stopped all income for 4 weeks.

I make my living with my tuk-tuk. 4 weeks ago the gearbox failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $150. Without the vehicle I earn nothing.
I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask.
I support my wife and our newborn. Before the breakdown I worked eleven hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next six months if I can just get the vehicle working.
I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here.
All money will go toward the parts and labor on the estimate, with a small amount for road tax and insurance renewal.
Where the $150 goes:
• Towing and inspection: $10
• gearbox replacement (parts): $105
• Road tax and insurance renewal: $35
Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself.

You're not alone. Small businesses are the heart of Pokhara. Hope you're open again soon. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry. Take care
