My taxi: Valerio's only way to earn a living
Without my taxi Valerio can't work; a $1,250 repair would put him back on the road.

I make my living with my taxi. 5 weeks ago the fuel pump failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $1,250. Without the vehicle I earn nothing.
I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask.
I support my family of five. Before the breakdown I worked twelve hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next three months if I can just get the vehicle working.
I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here.
All money will go toward the parts and labor on the estimate, with a small amount for road tax and insurance renewal.
Where the $1,250 goes:
• Road tax and insurance renewal: $230
• Towing and inspection: $140
• fuel pump replacement (parts): $880

Sure. The biggest one is road tax and insurance renewal, $230. The rest is in the list at the bottom of the post and I'll upload receipts as I pay each one. Thanks for asking.
