My taxi: Abigail's only way to earn a living
Abigail drives for a living in Liverpool, and a broken radiator and cooling system has stopped all income for 7 weeks.

I make my living with my taxi. 7 weeks ago the radiator and cooling system failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $1,100. Without the vehicle I earn nothing.
I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask.
I support my wife and our newborn. Before the breakdown I worked nine hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next six months if I can just get the vehicle working.
I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here.
All money will go toward the parts and labor on the estimate, with a small amount for road tax and insurance renewal.
Where the $1,100 goes:
• radiator and cooling system replacement (parts): $720
• Labor charges: $145
• Road tax and insurance renewal: $145
• Towing and inspection: $90
Glad we found this place.
Updates from Abigail
Good news. Because of your gifts ($346 in total) the plan for road tax and insurance renewal is now scheduled. Still a way to go but it feels less lonely.
