My school-run minibus: Saif's only way to earn a living
Saif drives for a living in Dhaka, and a broken suspension has stopped all income for 12 weeks.

I make my living with my school-run minibus. 12 weeks ago the suspension failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $150. Without the vehicle I earn nothing.
I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask.
I support my younger brothers and sisters. Before the breakdown I worked twelve hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next three months if I can just get the vehicle working.
I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here.
I'll pay the mechanic directly and show you the repaired vehicle in an update.
Where the $150 goes:
• suspension replacement (parts): $95
• Labor charges: $20
• Road tax and insurance renewal: $30
• Towing and inspection: $5
Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself.

Stay strong. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. I have a 9 year old who wants to send good wishes too
