Since 2020, our volunteer team has run the Thursday Table every Monday from the back of a borrowed garage. We started with 11 families, and now we feed 205 each week.
Donations have dropped by about 48% this rainy season, while the line has grown every single week.
We rely on volunteers - 13 of us - and keep no salaries or overhead. I buy staples at wholesale prices at the Lahore market and keep every receipt.
Each $5 feeds a family of four for a week.
All of the funds go to groceries, fresh produce, and cold-storage costs.
Where the $350 goes:
• Rice, beans, flour and oil (wholesale): $240
• Baby formula and diapers: $25
• Fresh vegetables and fruit: $85

Good news. Because of your gifts ($324 in total) we've started the first stage. Still a way to go but it feels less lonely.
Thank you all. We're at 32% now ($111). I'm honestly stunned. I made the first payment toward rice, beans, flour and oil.
Quick update: $40 raised so far (11%). the first invoice got paid this week. Receipts coming as soon as I have them.
