My school-run minibus: Panagiota's only way to earn a living
Without my school-run minibus Panagiota can't work; a $800 repair would put her back on the road.

I make my living with my school-run minibus. 7 weeks ago the transmission failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $800. Without the vehicle I earn nothing.
I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask.
I support my wife and our newborn. Before the breakdown I worked eleven hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next six months if I can just get the vehicle working.
I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here.
I'll pay the mechanic directly and show you the repaired vehicle in an update.
Where the $800 goes:
• Road tax and insurance renewal: $110
• Labor charges: $65
• transmission replacement (parts): $625
Thank you for reading my story.

Is there a list of costs somewhere? Just curious how it adds up for Panagiota.
The list at the bottom is the whole picture. road tax and insurance renewal is the biggest at $110. Thanks for asking.
Hang in there. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. Sent it to 24 people at work. Greetings from București.
