Without my ride-share car Taghreed can't work; a $800 repair would put her back on the road.

I make my living with my ride-share car. 7 weeks ago the clutch assembly failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $800. Without the vehicle I earn nothing. I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask. I support my 3 children. Before the breakdown I worked twelve hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next four months if I can just get the vehicle working. I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here. All money will go toward the parts and labor on the estimate, with a small amount for road tax and insurance renewal. Where the $800 goes: • clutch assembly replacement (parts): $450 • Labor charges: $195 • Road tax and insurance renewal: $75 • Towing and inspection: $80 Ask me anything below before you decide. I'd rather you were sure. - Taghreed

  • Hope things get better soon, Taghreed. I hope things turn around soon. Thinking of Mecca.

    • Rooting for you, Taghreed. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. My cousin had a similar thing happen so this one hit home. Take care
