Joliet
I make my living with my pickup. 3 weeks ago the transmission failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $600. Without the vehicle I earn nothing. I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask. I support my 1 children. Before the breakdown I worked eleven hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next three months if I can just get the vehicle working. I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here. I'll pay the mechanic directly and show you the repaired vehicle in an update. Where the $600 goes: • Towing and inspection: $140 • Labor charges: $300 • Road tax and insurance renewal: $160 I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support. - Víctor

          • Thinking of you. I hope things turn around soon. After 30 years in hospitality I know how hard it is to ask for anything.
