My pickup: Emiliano's only way to earn a living
Without my pickup Emiliano can't work; a $405 repair would put him back on the road.

I make my living with my pickup. 4 weeks ago the fuel pump failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $405. Without the vehicle I earn nothing.
I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask.
I support my wife and our newborn. Before the breakdown I worked nine hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next three months if I can just get the vehicle working.
I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here.
I'll pay the mechanic directly and show you the repaired vehicle in an update.
Where the $405 goes:
• fuel pump replacement (parts): $240
• Labor charges: $105
• Road tax and insurance renewal: $55
• Towing and inspection: $5
Whatever you can give, even just sharing this page, means a lot.

Thinking of you, Emiliano. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. Put this on a community board in Karachi this morning. Greetings from Karachi
shared this with my family. I went through something like this 7 years ago and strangers helped me out. Thinking of Buenos Aires.
Take care. Shared it with a few friends. Love from Nairobi.
Hang in there. Hope the shop reopens soon. Don't give up. Blessings
praying for you, Emiliano. I'd happily buy from you once you're back up. Don't be hard on yourself for asking
