My pickup: Carolina's only way to earn a living
Without my pickup Carolina can't work; a $600 repair would put her back on the road.

I make my living with my pickup. 7 weeks ago the fuel pump failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $600. Without the vehicle I earn nothing.
I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask.
I support my younger brothers and sisters. Before the breakdown I worked twelve hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next six months if I can just get the vehicle working.
I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here.
I'll pay the mechanic directly and show you the repaired vehicle in an update.
Where the $600 goes:
• Labor charges: $80
• Towing and inspection: $50
• fuel pump replacement (parts): $470
Every share and every dollar helps.

Is there a list of costs somewhere? Just curious how it adds up for Carolina!
It's all in the list in the story. labor charges is the big one at $80, I'll post a receipt when it's paid.
Rooting for you, Carolina. Hope you make a strong comeback. Put this on a community board in Dodoma this morning. Love from Dodoma.
