My motorbike: Dusit's only way to earn a living

Without my motorbike Dusit can't work; a $500 repair would put him back on the road.

I make my living with my motorbike. 7 weeks ago the rear axle failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $500. Without the vehicle I earn nothing. I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask. I support my wife and our newborn. Before the breakdown I worked ten hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next six months if I can just get the vehicle working. I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here. I'll pay the mechanic directly and show you the repaired vehicle in an update. Where the $500 goes: • Towing and inspection: $25 • rear axle replacement (parts): $390 • Road tax and insurance renewal: $85 Thank you for reading my story.

Updates from Dusit

  1. Quick update: $88 raised so far (18%). I made the first payment toward towing and inspection. Receipts coming as soon as I have them.

  2. 9% there. I made the first payment toward rear axle replacement. Thank you.
