My food truck: Ronke's only way to earn a living
Without my food truck Ronke can't work; a $200 repair would put her back on the road.

I make my living with my food truck. 12 weeks ago the engine head gasket failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $200. Without the vehicle I earn nothing.
I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask.
I support my two daughters and my mother. Before the breakdown I worked nine hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next three months if I can just get the vehicle working.
I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here.
All money will go toward the parts and labor on the estimate, with a small amount for road tax and insurance renewal.
Where the $200 goes:
• engine head gasket replacement (parts): $100
• Labor charges: $25
• Road tax and insurance renewal: $40
• Towing and inspection: $35

Good luck, Ronke. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. Love from Aurangabad.
Sending love, Ronke. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double. Love from Nakhon Ratchasima.
Thinking of you, Ronke. Hope the shop reopens soon. Put this on a community board in Curitiba this morning
