My food truck: Bhavna's only way to earn a living
Bhavna drives for a living in Saket, and a broken fuel pump has stopped all income for 7 weeks.

I make my living with my food truck. 7 weeks ago the fuel pump failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $200. Without the vehicle I earn nothing.
I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask.
I support my family of five. Before the breakdown I worked eleven hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next six months if I can just get the vehicle working.
I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here.
All money will go toward the parts and labor on the estimate, with a small amount for road tax and insurance renewal.
Where the $200 goes:
• Towing and inspection: $15
• fuel pump replacement (parts): $155
• Road tax and insurance renewal: $30
Please ask me anything in the questions section. I'll answer honestly and quickly.

You're not alone. Small businesses are the heart of Saket. Hope you're open again soon. Put this on a community board in Siliguri this morning. Love from Siliguri
rooting for you, Bhavna. Shared this with my family. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double. Thinking of Saket.
Good luck. Your post was clear and honest. Put this on a community board in Takoradi this morning
