My delivery van: Amélie's only way to earn a living
Without my delivery van Amélie can't work; a $250 repair would put her back on the road.

I make my living with my delivery van. 6 weeks ago the gearbox failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $250. Without the vehicle I earn nothing.
I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask.
I support my two daughters and my mother. Before the breakdown I worked twelve hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next three months if I can just get the vehicle working.
I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here.
All money will go toward the parts and labor on the estimate, with a small amount for road tax and insurance renewal.
Where the $250 goes:
• gearbox replacement (parts): $140
• Labor charges: $40
• Road tax and insurance renewal: $65
• Towing and inspection: $5
Ask me anything below before you decide. I'd rather you were sure.

is there anything that isn't money that would help Amélie?
Keep going. Gave what I could, wish it was more. We had a similar scare last year, I know what it feels like. Take care.
Shared it with a few friends. I went through something like this 7 years ago and strangers helped me out. Take care!
You're not alone. I hope things turn around soon. I'll check back for the next update. Blessings
Hope the shop reopens soon. My neighbor in Denpasar donated after I showed her your page
Rooting for you, Amélie. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. All the best.
