Emergency vet bill for Archie in Mwanza
A rescue greyhound named Archie needs a hospital stay and surgery - a $400 bill the family can't cover.

Archie is my rescue greyhound of nine years. On 12 March we rushed to the Mwanza Emergency Vet Clinic with pyometra. The vet recommends a hospital stay and surgery, and the estimate came to $400.
They have stabilized Archie, but the treatment can't wait beyond May.
Archie is more than a pet - Archie walks my kids to the bus stop every morning. I have already put $45 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan.
Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back.
If more is raised than needed, the surplus goes to the Mwanza Emergency Vet Clinic's charity fund for other animals.
Where the $400 goes:
• Emergency surgery: $210
• Hospitalization (4 nights): $115
• Medication and follow-up visits: $45
• Diagnostics (X-ray, bloodwork): $30
