Moving day volunteers: Zain's family relocating in Rawalpindi
A short, concrete way to help: a few hours of lifting and loading in Rawalpindi.

After the rent increase, I found a safe, affordable apartment in Rawalpindi, and the lease starts on Sunday. I have my elderly father, a few pieces of furniture and no money for movers.
I'm hoping for 3-4 helpers for about three hours. If you have a van or pickup, that would help enormously - I'll cover fuel.
The old place is on the fourth floor walk-up and the new place has just one flight of stairs. We'll do it in two trips. Lunch and cold drinks are on me.
I know this is a lot to ask of strangers. I'd be happy to share references from my landlord and my employer.
Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself.

Thanks for sharing this, Zain. A secure home matters so much. Hope you're settled soon
Thinking of you and your family. Shared it with a few friends. After 30 years in nursing I know how hard it's to ask for anything. Greetings from Quezon City.
you're not alone, Zain. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did.
Best of luck, Zain. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. All the best
Wishing you the best, Zain. Gave what I could, wish it was more. I went through something like this 14 years ago and strangers helped me out. Take care
shared it with a few friends. After 7 years in retail I know how hard it's to ask for anything. Thinking of Rawalpindi.
