Moving day volunteers: Mwanaisha's family relocating in Nairobi

Moving day on Friday: we need a few strong people and ideally a van.

After an unsafe stairwell, I found a safe, affordable apartment in Nairobi, and the lease starts on Friday. I have two children, a few pieces of furniture and no money for movers. I'm hoping for a few strong people for about five hours. If you have a van or pickup, that would help enormously - I'll cover fuel. The old place is on the second floor and the new place has just one flight of stairs. We'll do it in two trips. Lunch and cold drinks are on me. I know this is a lot to ask of strangers. I'd be happy to share references from my landlord and my employer. Thank you so much.

    • wishing you peace, Mwanaisha. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. Read this on the bus and kept thinking about it all day.
