Erica lives with profound hearing loss. The occupational therapist at Makati General Hospital has assessed her and recommended a stair-climbing aid. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $1,750. Her current equipment is 8 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined her to home for 8 weeks. With the right equipment Erica could join the school sports day. It would change everyday life for the whole family. We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest. Funds go toward the equipment, delivery, fitting and a year of servicing. Where the $1,750 goes: • stair-climbing aid: $1,600 • Fitting and training sessions: $50 • Delivery and set-up: $35 • First-year servicing plan: $65 Every share and every dollar helps.
