Moving day volunteers: Mauricio's family relocating in Madrid
Mauricio has found a safe new apartment in Madrid and needs help moving heavy furniture on Thursday.

After mold in the old building became a health issue for my child, I found a safe, affordable apartment in Madrid, and the lease starts on Thursday. I have a teenager and a toddler, a few pieces of furniture and no money for movers.
I'm hoping for a few strong people for about five hours. If you have a van or pickup, that would help enormously - I'll cover fuel.
The old place is on the third floor with no elevator and the new place has a ground-floor entrance. We'll do it in two trips. Lunch and cold drinks are on me.
I know this is a lot to ask of strangers. I'd be happy to share references from my landlord and my employer.
I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.
