Moving day volunteers: Jin-ah's family relocating in Seoul
A short, concrete way to help: a few hours of lifting and loading in Seoul.
🇰🇷 Seoul, Seoul, South Korea705 views
After a break-in at the old place, I found a safe, affordable apartment in Seoul, and the lease starts on Wednesday. I have two children, a few pieces of furniture and no money for movers.
I'm hoping for 3-4 helpers for about five hours. If you have a van or pickup, that would help enormously - I'll cover fuel.
The old place is on the fourth floor walk-up and the new place has an elevator. We'll do it in two trips. Lunch and cold drinks are on me.
I know this is a lot to ask of strangers. I'd be happy to share references from my landlord and my employer.
Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself.

You're not alone, Jin-ah. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry
stay strong. Hope you get there
Hang in there. Your post was clear and honest. I have a 16 year old who wants to send good wishes too. Thinking of Seoul.
