Moving day volunteers: Héctor's family relocating in Tlaquepaque
A short, concrete way to help: a few hours of lifting and loading in Tlaquepaque.

After a break-in at the old place, I found a safe, affordable apartment in Tlaquepaque, and the lease starts on Wednesday. I have my elderly father, a few pieces of furniture and no money for movers.
I'm hoping for anyone with a van for about five hours. If you have a van or pickup, that would help enormously - I'll cover fuel.
The old place is on the second floor and the new place has an elevator. We'll do it in two trips. Lunch and cold drinks are on me.
I know this is a lot to ask of strangers. I'd be happy to share references from my landlord and my employer.
Glad we found this place.

Thinking of you, Héctor. Shared this with my family. Read this on the bus and kept thinking about it all day. All the best.
Wishing you the best. Your post was clear and honest. Our whole street has been following this since the weekend. Take care.
rooting for you. A secure home matters so much. Hope you're settled soon. Thinking of Tlaquepaque!
Gave what I could, wish it was more. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry. Greetings from Los Angeles
