Moving day volunteers: Andrew's family relocating in London
A short, concrete way to help: a few hours of lifting and loading in London.

After mold in the old building became a health issue for my child, I found a safe, affordable apartment in London, and the lease starts on Wednesday. I have two children, a few pieces of furniture and no money for movers.
I'm hoping for 3-4 helpers for about four hours. If you have a van or pickup, that would help enormously - I'll cover fuel.
The old place is on the second floor and the new place has an elevator. We'll do it in two trips. Lunch and cold drinks are on me.
I know this is a lot to ask of strangers. I'd be happy to share references from my landlord and my employer.
Thank you for reading my story.

I hope your landlord gives you a bit more time while this comes together. We lost years of savings to something like this so I get it. Greetings from Cape Town.
Sending good thoughts, Andrew. I hope things turn around soon. Thinking of London!
