Mobility fund: stair-climbing aid for Ramesh in Butwal
A stair-climbing aid would give Ramesh independence - we're $400 away.

I live with a spinal cord injury. My occupational therapist at the Butwal Rehabilitation Centre has assessed me and recommended a stair-climbing aid. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $400.
My current equipment is 14 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined me to home for 5 weeks.
With the right equipment I could go outside without waiting for someone to push. It would change my everyday life and my ability to work from home.
We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest.
I'll pay the supplier directly from the funds, and I'll post a photo once the equipment is delivered.
Where the $400 goes:
• stair-climbing aid: $310
• Delivery and set-up: $25
• Fitting and training sessions: $65
I'll pay this kindness forward the moment I'm able to.

Stay strong. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. Put this on a community board in Raleigh this morning. Take care.
