Shahid lives with muscular dystrophy. The occupational therapist at the Lahore Mobility Clinic has assessed him and recommended a specialist standing frame. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $1,050. His current equipment is 11 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined him to home for 6 weeks. With the right equipment Shahid could join the school sports day. It would change everyday life for the whole family. We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest. Funds go toward the equipment, delivery, fitting and a year of servicing. Where the $1,050 goes: • specialist standing frame: $960 • Fitting and training sessions: $45 • Delivery and set-up: $20 • First-year servicing plan: $25 Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself.
